I did not build Holly K. Co. because I had everything figured out. I built it because I was shaped early by purpose, creativity, and faith, and I knew there had to be a way to bring all of that together in one place.

 

I grew up in church. Not just attending, but living inside the rhythms of sound checks, rehearsals, late nights, and altar calls. My grandfather was a sound engineer for major gospel artists in Detroit, MI, so media was never abstract to me. From the time I was a child, I watched how sound, visuals, and storytelling could move people, shift atmospheres, and carry a message far beyond the room. Church was my first classroom, and media ministry was my first exposure to purpose driven storytelling.

 

That foundation followed me into school. As a freshman in high school in Memphis, TN, I entered film, video, and theater technology and never looked back. By my senior year, I was one of the student directors for our high school production of Romeo & Juliet, learning early how to lead a vision, manage people, and tell a story that connects emotionally and visually. Long before I knew the language of branding or strategy, I understood narrative, pacing, and presence.

 

My professional journey began in front of the camera in the fashion and creative industry. As a model, I learned the power of presentation, intention, and visual storytelling. That experience naturally pulled me behind the scenes, where I grew into roles as a stylist, creative director, and art director. I learned how to curate moments, shape identities, and translate vision into something people can feel.

 

Over the past decade, I have cultivated my craft through collaborations with culture shaping brands and platforms including Apple Music, Puma, Roc Nation, One Afrika Global, House of Zuri, and the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show, where I served three times as a casting producer. These experiences refined my ability to operate at a high level while still leading with care, clarity, and purpose.

 

What I discovered along the way is that my true gift is not just creating beautiful things. It is helping people see what is already inside them and giving it structure, strategy, and visibility. I am deeply faith rooted, family centered, and purpose led. My relationship with Jesus guides how I show up, how I lead, and how I serve. Excellence is not optional for me, but neither is integrity.
